Dr. Tibor J. Toplenszky is a board-certified internal medicine and urgent care physician based in Reno, Nevada, with deep expertise in healthcare management, physician leadership, and clinical research. A graduate of Albert Szent-Györgyi Medical University in Hungary and an alumnus of Yale University’s Internal Medicine residency program, he combines strong clinical credentials with strategic and operational experience.
He co-founded Renascor Clinical Research to advance clinical trials that improve patient care and outcomes. As an entrepreneur, he also founded Evexiacare, a company focused on chronic care management solutions. Recognized as a thought leader in healthcare, Dr. Toplenszky was nominated for the 2020 Northern Nevada Best in Business award.
Outside medicine, he enjoys sailing, travel, and outdoor adventures, reflecting his commitment to a balanced, engaged life while contributing to the healthcare community.

Dr. Sangeeta Wagner is a board‑certified family and urgent care physician in Reno, NV, with more than 25 years of experience delivering innovative, patient‑centered care across multiple health systems. A Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, she was honored in 2024 by the Nevada Women’s Fund as a Woman of Achievement. Her leadership roles with local Federally Qualified Health Centers strengthened her commitment to equitable health solutions, including expanded access to clinical research.
As Principal Investigator on ten major biopharmaceutical trials, Dr. Wagner has deep expertise in study conduct, regulatory compliance, and team leadership. That experience led her to co‑found Renascor Clinical Research, Inc. As a family physician, scientist, and entrepreneur, she applies practical clinical insight and business acumen to streamline clinical research—making trials more accessible, efficient, and equitable for patients and healthcare partners.

Valerie oversees the strategic and operational functions of a clinical research center, ensuring regulatory integrity, fiscal accountability, and program excellence. She has led the development of a robust research infrastructure, implementing certification programs, optimizing administrative policies, and managing day-to-day operations with a focus on efficiency and collaboration. Valerie ensures clinical trials are conducted under Good Clinical Practice (GCP), serving as a key liaison among sponsors, investigators, and institutional review boards. Her leadership spans budget management, SOP and CLIA certification oversight, and resolution of complex operational challenges. She also directs a multidisciplinary team, fosters cross-functional problem-solving, and drives continuous improvement through the adoption of innovative technologies and streamlined business processes.

The facility features private exam rooms, a secure specimen processing and storage area with temperature control, a comfortable participant reception and waiting area, and a centralized coordination hub for study staff. Equipped with secure electronic record systems, telehealth and monitoring capabilities, and compliant storage for investigational products, the site supports efficient workflows, rigorous data integrity, and participant safety. Accessible design, private consent areas, and culturally sensitive patient materials ensure a welcoming, respectful experience that promotes retention and equitable access to research.
